We're now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead, motivate and develop a high-performing team while ensuring efficient, accurate, and customer-focused warehouse operations in a fast-paced, time-critical environment.
Responsibilities
- To directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift.
- To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence.
- Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times.
- Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.
Qualifications
- Proven people management experience within a warehouse environment, ideally in e-commerce or other fast-paced, high-volume operations.
- Experience managing next-day or time-critical order fulfilment processes.
- Strong customer focus with the ability to build and maintain effective working relationships.
- IT literate with good working knowledge of Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
