A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE

  • Providing expert Health, Safety and Environmental support and guidance to operational teams across the site.
  • Analysing accident, incident and claims data to identify trends and implement improvement plans.
  • Conducting HSE audits, inspections and compliance reviews, ensuring actions are effectively completed.
  • Supporting managers with risk assessments, safe systems of work and their wider HSE responsibilities.
  • Delivering HSE training, awareness campaigns and safety initiatives to engage colleagues at all levels.
  • Working closely with internal stakeholders and external authorities to ensure legal and organisational compliance.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Have proven experience within a Health & Safety role, ideally in warehousing, logistics, or operational environments.
  • Experience supporting major change programmes, customer onboarding projects or site start-ups, working with external partners to embed safe and compliant HSE practices.
  • Hold a NEBOSH National General Certificate and are working towards, or hold, a NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent).
  • Enjoy building strong relationships and influencing stakeholders across all levels of the business.
  • Are confident analysing data and turning insights into practical improvement plans.
  • Take a proactive approach to problem-solving and continuous improvement.
  • Are passionate about creating a positive safety culture and driving high standards of compliance and engagement.
