Pay Rate: £32,000 - £33,000

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday - Friday - day shifts; earlies can be 4am and lates can be 10pm

Location: Heathrow Airport - TW6 2GA

PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an airport. You will be required to undergo a security/background check if you are to be successful for this position.

We're now looking for a Site Trainer to play an integral role at the heart of our operations, ensuring that every flight is a success.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Delivery of training courses to new and existing colleagues.
  • Conducting all Ground Service Equipment (GSE) training in accordance with current legislation and company requirements.
  • Devising, implementing and conducting GSE operators' courses.
  • Being fully conversant with and complying with all current company rules, regulations, procedures, processes and policies, reporting any breaches.
  • Displaying a professional image.
  • Providing and supporting all mandatory, compliance and induction training.
  • Identifying, developing and designing training interactions which contribute to the business, and complying with any industry standards and legislation mandatory requirements.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Have previous experience in aviation, a strong understanding of DHL's safety policies and procedures, and extensive knowledge of airlines and airport authorities (desirable but not essential).
  • Possess strong teamwork and communication skills, as you will be working closely with a diverse group of colleagues and airline personnel.
  • Have good IT literacy with a sound knowledge of Microsoft Packages including Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Excel.
  • Have 1 year experience of delivering training (preferable).
  • Hold a 'Train the Trainer' certificate or Training qualification (desirable).
  • Have a full UK driving license (manual) - Essential.
  • Have D1 on licence (preferable).
  • Be able to deliver Aviation Security training.

SECURITY PROCESS TO WORK WITHIN AVIATION AND TRAVEL AT DHL:

  • Be able to provide five years' address history.
  • Be able to provide five years' reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character).
  • Pass a pre-employment Drug and Alcohol test.
