We are now looking for a Stock Control Team Leader to be responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and efficient management of stock through the effective leadership and coordination of the inventory team.
A Typical Day May Involve:
- Maintaining high standards of inventory control by proactively monitoring stock levels, identifying discrepancies, and resolving issues before they impact operations or customer service.
- Driving compliance with inventory processes, stock controls, and system requirements, ensuring all activities are completed accurately and on time.
- Analysing data, audit results, and stock movement trends, championing continuous improvement initiatives to enhance inventory accuracy, reduce losses, and improve overall operational efficiencies.
- Coordinating stock counts, audits, supplier deliveries, and system transactions, ensuring seamless stock flow and accurate inventory records across all operational touchpoints.
- Supporting operational performance by ensuring stock availability meets demand within a fast-paced convenience retail environment.
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- 1-2 years experience in stock / operational experience - DHL Supply Chain experience is highly advantageous.
- Stock & Inventory experience in a warehouse / logistics environment.
- Actively champion a culture of continuous improvement.
- Strong leadership skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
