WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Drive Financial Strategy: Oversee all financial operations, ensuring accuracy and compliance while guiding our strategic financial planning.
- Ensure Compliance: Working with key stakeholders to ensure the integrity of the reported numbers and make sure that rigorous financial control systems are in place.
- Analyse & Optimise: Producing trading analysis for senior management, highlighting financial trends and key triggers.
- Lead and Inspire: Leadership of the wider Finance team including recruitment, development and engagement of high-quality Finance Managers.
- Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support decision-making processes, ensuring commercial propositions are developed and implemented.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Have proven experience as a Financial Controller or in a similar role, preferably within a large organisation.
- Are a qualified accountant (ICAEW / CIMA / ACCA or equivalent) or part qualified and actively working towards a full qualification.
- Possess strong analytical skills and attention to detail, with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
- Have a proactive mindset and a passion for continuous improvement.
