LGV C+E Driver (HGV Class 1) - Nights - based Peterborough
Pay Rate: £44,353 based on a 48 hour week (£17.77 per hour and includes paid breaks)
Grade: RCS grade O
Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: Monday to Friday 17:00 starts
Location: Peterborough PE1 5FQ

We are now looking for a HGV Class 1 Night Driver to play a key role in ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Movement of engine parts – shifts could include either 2 x tip and reload Nuneaton or Felixstowe collection or Desford delivery and Nuneaton collection
- Curtain sided trailer and FLT load and unload
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
- Have experience of working night shifts
- Have a can do attitude
- Have curtain sided trailer experience
- Live locally to Peterborough
