WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Deliver and manage transport training programmes, including driver inductions, compliance training, and ongoing development to build a highly skilled workforce
- Drive a strong Health & Safety culture, ensuring full compliance with legal requirements and company standards across all transport activities
- Work closely with transport leadership to ensure training and safety initiatives align with daily operations
- Mentor and support drivers and colleagues, ensuring continuous improvement and engagement across the team
- Keep up to date with industry regulations and best practice, ensuring our operation remains compliant and forward-thinking
- Support and maintain full adherence to transport legislation, H&S policies, and audit requirements, ensuring the operation remains fully compliant at all times
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Proven background in both Transport operations and Health & Safety entry level leadership (essential)
- HGV license would be advantageous
- Demonstrable experience leading Continuous Improvement and process optimisation initiatives
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety standards, legislation, and compliance requirements
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, effectively managing multiple priorities
- Exposure to training delivery and colleague development, with a willingness to build capability in this area
