Location: Ryton, Coventry (CV8 3LF) - Hybrid working

Work pattern: Monday to Friday. Day time hours (08:00-16:00 / 09:00-17:00). Flexibility is required for infrequent overnight stays for UK based meetings.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Supporting 4 VPs within the Manufacturing Logistics Senior Leadership Team in terms of key event organisation, data collation, local communications, event planning and collation of data packs.
  • Coordinating activities through the provision of comprehensive and confidential PA support, including diary and email management, travel management, and meeting planning and material preparation.
  • Travel Management - booking travel, transfers and hotels as required.
  • Proactively arranging the required regular meetings, producing agenda and accompanying material, attending meetings, producing actions and sending out in a timely manner.
  • Coordinating the effective business administration of travel, business expenses, company credit cards and other associated information including Purchase Orders.
  • Ensuring Compliance and other company policies including approvals are adhered to.
  • Organisation and coordination of internal and external customer events; External Speaker events, liaising with third parties (Hotels, Audio Visual, Key speakers, gifts) to negotiate best price in line with budget.

This Role Would Suit People Who:

  • Have previous PA experience supporting at an Executive/VP level.
  • Have proven experience of travel booking and coordination.
  • Possess excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
  • Have strong MS Office skills, including Teams, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Exhibit excellent organisation skills and are able to prioritise multiple tasks.
  • Are a trusted member of the team, able to confidently build relationships and manage queries from all levels of seniority.
  • May be required, on occasions, to travel to other DSC sites as appropriate.
  • Have good knowledge of technology - Smart phones, PC/laptop, tablets.
  • Are self‑motivated, well‑organised, adaptable and resilient with the ability to respond to challenging priorities with a sense of urgency and pace.
  • Have been customer oriented with excellent communication and organisation skills.
