Pay Rate: £25,900 + 10% Night shift Premium

Grade: RCS P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: 10pm to 6am, Sunday to Friday (Finishes Friday 06:00AM)

Location: Leicester

A Typical Day May Involve:

  • Planning and resourcing the correct skill base to meet operational requirements based on throughput volumes, ramp‑up periods, and current productivity rates in line with the operational budget.
  • Supporting the Warehouse Operations Controller with Performance Reviews and 121 meetings, recording outputs and updating follow‑up actions.
  • Accurately reporting shift status information every two hours.
  • Ensuring the Warehouse Operation is resourced to achieve volume throughputs and to align with the operational budget.
  • Leading planning with Operations, Agency, and recruitment around specific periods such as Peak, Easter, Christmas, and Sporting Events.
  • Coordinating activities for leadership in terms of planning Performance Reviews and 121 meetings.
  • Monitoring and validating the quality of information received from the Resource Planning Model and challenging it where appropriate.
  • Maintaining and updating the WLM system, ensuring all onsite layout changes and SPR changes are captured and updated for data accuracy.

This Role Would Suit People Who:

  • Have previous OMS experience (beneficial).
  • Hold a driver’s license (beneficial).
  • Are IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft Office packages.
