Note: This role is based within a category C prison and you will need an enhanced security vetting process. You must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle for this role.
About the Role
We are looking for a Warehouse Team Leader inside HMP Prison Whatton. You will lead prisoners in the warehouse, manage picking, packing, stock and dispatch, and support rehabilitation. Can you adapt quickly to secure and structured environments? Are you confident coordinating daily warehouse tasks? Do you enjoy leading and supporting a team?
A Typical Day May Involve:
- Leading a group of prisoners in a warehouse environment, whilst also being hands on with picking and packing
- Reconciling stock levels within the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
- Managing the delivery of accurate and timely dispatch of orders to the inmates and ensuring operational targets are met and exceeded
Essential Criteria
- Must have three years of UK address history to meet enhanced security clearance requirements.
- Must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions (we are unable to offer sponsorship now or in future).
- Must hold a valid UK driving licence and have access to your own vehicle.
