Looking for a Transport First Line Manager to work in a consumer and convenience site based in Northampton.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.
- Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success.
- Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
- Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best.
- Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Can lead from the front, winning hearts and minds and providing coaching and mentorship.
- Hold an International CPC Qualification (essential).
- Conduct performance reviews, absence management, and disciplinaries where required.
- Aren't afraid to roll their sleeves up and get stuck in when needed.
- Proven people management experience within transport - ideally managing large driver fleets.
- Competent user of transport and logistics software systems.
- Operational experience in Consumer, FMCG, or Convenience retail supply chains desirable.
- Able to manage up to 20 direct reports.
