At DHL Supply Chain, we're looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Stock Controller to join our dynamic warehouse operation.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with stock control experience who enjoys investigating discrepancies, analysing data, and ensuring inventory accuracy within a fast-paced logistics environment.

  • A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVLOVE
  • Managing stock accuracy and inventory control across ambient warehouse areas.
  • Conducting stock counts, cycle counts, and inventory reconciliation activities.
  • Investigating stock discrepancies and customer inventory queries, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Using warehouse management systems, including JDA Stock Control Systems, to maintain accurate inventory records.
  • Producing stock and inventory reports using Microsoft Excel and other internal systems.
  • Supporting customer investigations and providing timely resolution to stock-related issues.
  • Working closely with operational teams to drive continuous improvements in stock accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
  • Picking, packing and sorting orders in a fast-paced environment when required.
  • Supporting general warehouse operations, including housekeeping and maintaining a safe working environment.
  • THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
  • Have previous Stock Control or Inventory Management experience within a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Possess strong mathematical literacy and confidence working with numerical data.
  • Are analytical and enjoy being an investigative problem solver, with the ability to identify trends and resolve discrepancies.
  • Have strong PC skills, including a good working knowledge of Microsoft Excel.
  • Have experience using Warehouse Management Systems, ideally JDA or similar stock control platforms.
  • Demonstrate excellent organisational skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Can prioritise workloads and perform effectively in a fast-paced operation.
  • Have a flexible, positive attitude and enjoy working collaboratively with colleagues and customers.
  • Are comfortable completing stock-related assessments as part of the recruitment process, including a numerical and accuracy-based test.
