Location: Northampton, NN4 7BD
We are looking for a Nights Shift Stock Control Administrator to help run one of our warehouses in Northampton.
A typical day may involve:
- Ensuring the integrity of stock across 15,000 bulk reserve locations and 2,000 pick faces through accurate and timely perpetual counting.
- Actively participating in the re-slotting of products to accommodate changes in volume, promotions, and seasonality across 2,500 SKU lines, ensuring operational needs are met effectively.
- Managing damaged stock by implementing processes for identification, reporting, and disposal, while ensuring clear communication with relevant teams regarding damages and the management of returned stock.
- Leading by example in maintaining high standards of stock control and addressing any non-conformities promptly.
- Collaborating with inbound and outbound teams to resolve stock-related issues efficiently.
- Conducting regular audits and reviews of stock levels, discrepancies, and compliance with company policies.
- Monitoring Best Before Dates (BBD) and shelf life of all stock to ensure compliance with quality standards and minimise waste.
- Assisting in the development and implementation of stock control processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Operating Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including reach trucks and low-level order pickers (LOP), as required.
Candidates must hold a valid MHE license or be willing to complete in-house training to obtain one.
This role would suit people who:
- Have proven experience in stock control or inventory management, preferably within a warehouse environment.
- Are proficient in using inventory management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Possess strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members and other departments.
- Have a valid MHE license for operating reach trucks and low-level order pickers (LLOP) is preferred; candidates without a license must be willing to complete in-house training.
- Are okay to work a Day Shift, 4 days on, 4 days off / 6:00 - 18:00.
- Are okay to work in a Multi-chamber warehouse.
