Shift patterns: Flexible hours Monday to Friday: able to commit anywhere from 5 to 40 hours weekly, starting times 07:30 or 08:00
Location: HM Prison Stocken, near Oakham, LE15 7RD
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a men's category c prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Loading and unloading vehicles when orders arrive at the prison then taking them to the right location
- Working on the prison wings, distributing orders accurately and on time to inmates
- Checking with people over the phone or in person to correct any issues with deliveries
- Complying with prison rules and regulations
Essential Criteria:
- You must have three recent years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance).
- You must have right to work in the UK with no limits now or in the future. We cannot offer sponsorship for this opportunity now or down the line.
This Role Would Suit People Who:
- Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
- Are able to work in a role that requires manual handling and regular heavy lifting (up to 20kg, around the weight of a large packed suitcase)
