Join our vibrant team as we manage and maintain a stunning fleet of circa 3,000 vehicles, utilised as part of DHL's company car scheme, exclusively supporting the prestigious Volkswagen Group. We are currently looking for a Customer Experience Vehicle Inspection Specialist to play an important role within DHL's Finished Vehicle Solutions customer contract.

We are looking for a detail-driven, people-focused professional to take ownership of our vehicle inspection experience. In this role, you will combine technical accuracy with outstanding communication to ensure every customer feels confident, informed, and valued.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Ensuring an exceptional end-to-end experience for customers during the handover of their new vehicles and the inspection of their return vehicles, adhering to the agreed VWG Return Standard.
  • Conducting thorough inspections of return vehicles and new vehicles, adhering to agreed standards and timescales.
  • Accurately recording damage using handheld technology and other media to ensure all damage is documented.
  • Maintaining effective communication regarding up-to-date repair costs with the external parts department.
  • Providing exceptional customer service while maintaining professional relationships with colleagues and customers.
  • Assisting with vehicle movements to and from the Handover Centre, adhering to site rules.
  • Following all health and safety procedures in the workplace and reporting any related incidents.
  • Ensuring the security of all vehicles on site and reporting any security concerns.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Have previous experience in the automotive industry (desirable).
  • Have previous Customer Service experience (essential).
  • Have proven experience of Inspections and vehicle estimating.
  • Possess excellent customer service skills with a high level of communication skills (verbal and written).
  • Have a strong eye for detail.
  • Can prioritise work responsibilities and carry out work duties in the allocated timeframe.
  • Hold a full, clean driving license (essential).
