- Take the Lead: Oversee our daily transport operations, ensuring timely and efficient deliveries to our customers.
- Innovate & Optimise: Develop and implement transport strategies that enhance efficiency and drive success. Your ideas will help us stay ahead of the curve!
- Ensure Safety: Uphold the highest safety standards and compliance regulations, creating a safe and secure workplace for everyone.
- Team Builder: Develop, engage and inspire your team, creating an environment where every colleague can do their best.
- Analyse & Improve: Monitor performance metrics and identify opportunities for improvement. Your analytical skills will help us deliver excellence every day!
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Must have people management experience within transport - ideally managing a large driver fleet of up to 120 drivers.
- Must have experience working within a transport office / supply chain environment.
- Computer literate with a practical knowledge of logistics software packages.
- Excellent knowledge of Working Time Directive and Drivers Hours.
- Strong communication skills - across various stakeholders, including customers.
