Are you a qualified MHE Trainer with a passion for developing people and promoting safe working practices? We are looking for a proactive Warehouse Site Trainer to deliver engaging training programmes, support employee development, and ensure colleagues have the skills and knowledge needed to perform at their best. This is a hands-on role where you'll play a key part in onboarding new starters, maintaining training compliance, and driving a culture of continuous improvement across the operation.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Deliver engaging site inductions and training programmes for new starters, ensuring a positive onboarding experience and smooth integration into the operation.
  • Train, coach and assess employees on the safe operation of Material Handling Equipment (MHE), including Counterbalance, Reach Truck, Scissor Lift, HLOP and PPT.
  • Support the development of existing colleagues through on-the-job training, mentoring, buddying programmes and ongoing upskilling initiatives.
  • Maintain and regularly update the site training records and skills matrix, ensuring compliance, accuracy and operational readiness.
  • Work closely with operational teams to identify training needs, drive workforce capability and promote a culture of safety, compliance and continuous improvement.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Have previous experience training and assessing warehouse operatives on MHE, with Counterbalance and Reach Truck accredited instructor qualifications being essential.
  • Are ITSSAR or RTITB accredited trainers, with qualifications in Scissor Lift, HLOP and PPT considered highly desirable.
  • Have demonstrable experience operating and training colleagues on double fork attachments.
  • Possess excellent communication, presentation and organisational skills, with the ability to deliver engaging and effective training sessions.
  • Have a flexible approach to working hours, with the ability to support training requirements across both day and night shifts when required.
