Pay Rate: £36,403.85 plus a multi-drop premium of £2,600 (split and paid monthly)

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Working 5 on 3 off, starting between 4am and 7am

Location: Bury

We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our team delivering a variety of goods to stores. If you enjoy being on the road and don’t mind a physically active role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores
  • Delivering a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen goods
  • Manual handling required - moving cages on and off the vehicle (use of PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) for palletised deliveries)
  • Regular driving in busy city centre environments
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
  • Ideally 6 months recent driving experience
  • A positive attitude and willingness to work in a physically demanding role
