We’re looking for a reliable and hardworking Class 2 Driver to join our team delivering a variety of goods to stores. If you enjoy being on the road and don’t mind a physically active role, this could be the perfect opportunity for you.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Multi-drop deliveries to retail stores
- Delivering a mix of ambient, chilled, and frozen goods
- Manual handling required - moving cages on and off the vehicle (use of PPT (Powered Pallet Truck) for palletised deliveries)
- Regular driving in busy city centre environments
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 (Category C) licence, Driver CPC qualification and Digital Tachograph card
- Ideally 6 months recent driving experience
- A positive attitude and willingness to work in a physically demanding role
