We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to
play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- Trailer swapping at customer sites 2 or 3 a day
- No Handballing involved and not long hours
- Occasionally going to Felixstowe or Southampton Docks (Rides cards will be supplied and training given)
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 6 months recent driving experience
