Shift Pattern: 4 on 4 off Rotational Days, 07:00am - 19:00pm
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within an Airport. You will be required to undergo Security Vetting Processes (including a criminal record check) if you are to be successful for this position.
What does the role entail?
- Cleaning cargo aircraft to a high standard
- Ability to work quickly and to meet tight deadlines
- Ensuring that you comply with all security processes at East Midlands Airport
- Operate all equipment, as per training, to meet safety expectations
- Working in a safe and tidy manner
- Cleaning of Pilot lounge including drink, coffee machine and food replenishment tasks
- Making crew beds and cleaning bedrooms, organisation of linen delivery and collection
- Making up aircraft bedding packs
- Cleaning of Engineering hangar including use of ride on scrubber
- Completing catering requests and packing of catering
What do we need from you?
- Takes pride in their work
- Able to work at a fast pace
- Previous cleaning and/or airport experience is preferable
- Excellent communication skills at all levels
- Ability to quickly and accurately react to any given situation
- Security process to work within aviation and travel at DHL
- You will need a minimum of 3 years UK address history
- Be able to provide 5 years reference history (employment/education/benefit claim/character)
- Full UK Driving licence
- To obtain a full airside ID
