We're now looking for a Transport First Line Manager to support the day to day running of our transport operation.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Manage day to day transport activities on shift, helping ensure deliveries run safely, on time, and in line with plan.
- Promote and follow safe working practices, ensuring compliance with transport, health, and safety procedures at all times.
- Support, coach, and engage drivers and colleagues, creating a positive and inclusive team environment.
- Track day to day performance, deal with issues as they arise, and elevate concerns where needed to keep the operation running smoothly.
WHAT YOU'LL BRING
- Transport or logistics experience, ideally with some leadership responsibility.
- Excellent organisational and problem-solving skills.
- Comfortable using Excel, PowerPoint, and other digital tools.
- Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively with drivers, colleagues, and wider operational teams.
- A proactive, safety focused mindset, able to follow procedures, address issues quickly, and appropriately elevate where needed.
