We are now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our operations and drive success. If you are a proactive leader with a passion for logistics, we want you on our team!
What You’ll Do:- Directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift.
- Manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring stock movement and control, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence.
- Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times.
- Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.
- Have previous experience in a similar people management role, within warehousing/supply chain.
- Have customer management experience (advantageous).
- Are IT literate with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Have start-up experience (desirable).
