We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A Typical Day May Involve:
- Driving safely and efficiently in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to the Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- Manual handling of customer products
- 1-3 store deliveries delivering to the rear of the store using a tail lift and electric pump truck
- Collecting salvage to return to site
- About 10-12 hours per day
Role Would Suit People Who:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Ideally have 12 months recent driving experience
- Are polite and friendly and have a can-do attitude
- Double deck experience is desirable
