What You’ll Do- To directly assist operational management by initiating, monitoring and reporting on the effectiveness of all warehousing activities and staff performance of your designated shift.
- To manage and implement productivity by communicating job expectations to direct line reports, monitoring stock movement and control, whilst ensuring that all deadlines are safely met within allocated time frames and always maintaining standards of excellence.
- Responsible for Health and Safety across the operation and driving a Safety First Culture, to ensure all staff are safe within the workplace at all times.
- Support a continuous improvement programme to increase efficient and effective working practices within the operation.
- Previous experience in a similar people management role, within warehousing/supply chain.
- Customer management experience is advantageous.
- IT Literacy with experience using Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems.
- Start-up experience is desirable.
