As General Manager, you'll take ownership of a brand-new, highly automated logistics facility, leading the mobilisation, implementation and operational strategy that will set the standard for performance, innovation and customer service.
This is far more than a traditional operations role.
You'll have the unique opportunity to shape the future of a multi-customer operation, influence site design and ways of working, build a high-performing culture, and lead a talented team through a major mobilisation programme towards a significant go-live milestone.

- A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Leading the end‑to‑end operation across warehousing, transport and distribution activities, ensuring service, quality and operational performance targets are consistently achieved.
- Driving daily operational reviews, analysing KPIs and implementing actions that improve productivity, customer experience and site performance.
- Building and maintaining strong customer relationships, acting as the senior point of contact and ensuring DHL remains the logistics partner of choice.
- Leading, coaching and inspiring operational leadership teams to create a highly engaged, inclusive and performance-focused culture.
- Overseeing the mobilisation and implementation of a brand‑new automated operation, ensuring a seamless journey from fit‑out through to go‑live.
- Working closely with engineering, automation and support teams to optimise ASRS and flow room systems, delivering operational excellence from day one.
- Taking full ownership of site financial performance, including budget management, cost control and delivery of P&L commitments.
- Ensuring the highest standards of safety, security, compliance and operational governance are embedded across a highly regulated environment.
