Location: East Midlands Gateway - Derby

We’re currently recruiting experienced Class 1 (C+E) Drivers to join a busy and professional operation delivering ambient goods to major food retail distribution centres across the UK. As a Class 1 Driver, you will be responsible for delivering palletised loads to well‑known food retail distribution centres and other major RDCs.

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Multi‑drop deliveries to food retail distribution centres nationwide
  • Average of 2 drops per shift
  • Driving throughout the UK as part of a nationwide delivery network
  • Transporting ambient goods on pallets
  • Majority of deliveries are unloaded by the distribution centre, occasionally (approximately 2% of deliveries) you may be required to assist with unloading
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence, Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Minimum 8 months recent Class 1 driving experience
  • Maximum of 6 penalty points on your licence
  • Good understanding of drivers’ hours and working time regulations
  • Professional, reliable, and customer‑focused attitude
