Role: HGV Class 1 Dray person to play a vital role in our distribution service.
Responsibilities:
- Monday - Friday shift pattern, some Saturdays required; start time from 5am.
- Handling alcoholic goods
- Delivering multiple drops per day to pubs, restaurants, and hotels (up to 20 drops per day)
- Manual handling up to 11 tonnes of stock per day
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers’ Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Comply with health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
Requirements:
- Valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card – Essential
- Experienced HGV multi-drop driver – Desirable
- Experience in dray work – Desirable
- No more than 6 points on Driving licence – Essential
