Location: Brackmills, Northampton (NN4 7BW)
Shift patterns: Monday-Friday. Day-time hours (08:00-16:00/08:30-16:30)

WHAT YOU\’LL DO
- To liaise with Stock and Admin team to ensure operational service levels are met and exceeded through the achievement of key KPIs for multiple site customers
- Ensure high level of inventory accuracy is maintained across every contract (including bonded stock contracts) with focus on minimising integrity errors, reduce potential stock losses and ensure accurate reporting is maintained in line with customer demands
- Lead site strategy and working practices for managing perpetual inventory to ensure integrity, an understanding of stock loss contractual liability and that risk is effectively mitigated
- Effectively deploy resources and Standard Operating Procedures (SOP\’s) to meet site requirements
- Ensure adherence to key customers KPI\’s for inventory and mitigate any customs liability
- To ensure effective planning to allow optimum deployment of stock and admin resource to provide adequate cover
- Work in collaboration with the DHL Ops team & Bond teams to ensure standardisation for stock excellence across the multi site contracts
- To co-ordinate the stock storage solution in line with customer space requirements and provide optimised solutions
- Team management of 5 individuals
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Previous Inventory Manager experience is essential
- Experience of using Red Prairie, SAP, DMS would be desirable (training will be provided)
- Knowledge of Bond Stock would be beneficial
- Automation experience would be advantageous, but not essential
- Have strong operational knowledge of logistics and warehousing
- Demonstrable record of delivering against targets
- Have a strategic mindset and a passion for problem-solving
- Strong communication across all levels, including to direct your direct reports
- Keen eye to detail
