A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Lead and manage the safety strategy across our HMPPS estate, ensuring compliance with all relevant safety regulations and HMPPS standards.
- Drive standardisation and consistency across DHL Workshop environments.
- Promote a proactive Safety First culture, championing continuous improvement and outstanding safety performance.
- Provide direct leadership to safety teams, fostering high performance and professional development.
- Build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders, both internal and external, to deliver collaborative safety solutions.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- NEBOSH General Certificate (essential).
- Proven health and safety experience in a logistics environment.
- Ability to travel regionally and beyond as operational needs dictate.
- Comfortable working within a prison environment.
- Strong line management experience with a track record of developing teams.
