DHL Supply Chain – an award-winning leader in logistics – is recruiting PERMANENT HGV Class 1 and HGV Class 2 Drivers for an exciting opportunity based at the Co‑op Wholesale Distribution Centre in Stoke on Trent.
Earn over £45,000 OTE (including driver bonus, shift premiums & overtime).
Pay & Earnings- Salary: £36,892 per year (42 hour week)
- HGV Driver Premium: £2,600 per year
- Overtime: Paid at x1.33 for any overtime shift; x1.33 also paid after working 84 hours over 2 weeks
- Weekend premium: +25% for weekend shifts
- Realistic earning potential: £45,000+ per annum.
- Enjoy a structured and predictable rota.
- Fixed 2‑week rolling rota:
- Week 1: 3 days
- Week 2: 4 days
- Week days can be discussed at point of interview; 2 Saturdays per month required
- Start times typically early AM (around 03:00‑05:00)
- Shift length: 9‑13 hours
- Weekend working included within the rota
- Store deliveries to Co‑op Wholesale locations
- Multi‑drop work on planned routes
- Delivering chilled, frozen, and ambient goods
- Use of cages, dollies, and pallets depending on delivery type
- Driving in line with Drivers' Hours and WTD regulations
- Completing vehicle checks and delivery paperwork
- Maintaining high health & safety standards
- Providing a professional and friendly service at store level
- Valid HGV Class 1 (C+E) or HGV Class 2 (C) licence
- Valid Driver CPC and Digital Tachograph Card
- Multi‑drop experience is advantageous but not essential
- Strong safety awareness and compliance mindset
- Reliable, professional, and customer‑focused attitude
