WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Support the Site Manager in the day‑to‑day running of a busy RDC site, acting as deputy to ensure safe, efficient operations across both warehouse and transport activities.
- Operate as an all‑rounder within a small site environment, requiring knowledge of warehousing, transport legislation, people management, and operational systems.
- Ensure full compliance with SOPs, company policies, and Health & Safety regulations, maintaining a safe, secure, and well‑organised working environment.
- Manage operational challenges through effective communication, resource planning, and flexibility, including shift cover and key holder duties.
- Lead and develop a small team, managing performance, resources, and communication, while remaining flexible to meet operational demands, including shift cover and key holder responsibilities.
