We are looking for a Global Freight Logistics FLM to join an international teams

WHAT YOU\’LL DO

  • Business Management: Promote a positive innovative culture and philosophy of one team within the business – expedite cost saving or business improvement solutions and communicate information on issues as they arise
  • Human Resource: To support the development of the staff team in meeting the needs of the operation, through providing training, mentoring and coaching in encouraging the development of direct reports to facilitate personal and professional growth through business success
  • Operation: To support planners technically and in the production and distribution of transport & export related processes to facilitate these movements
  • Air Freight & Sea Freight carriers: Develop and maintain key relationships with customer, key carriers, partners via relationship management and development.

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO

  • Proven leadership role within customer facing fast paced Air and Sea operation
  • Computer literate with excellent knowledge of MS Office (Excel) , OTM and computerised scheduling systems
  • Ability to drive and implement performance management of team and operation online and in person
  • Knowledge of different material types, modes of transport and end markets (Globally)
  • Knowhow on how to ship and handle dangerous Goods – desirable
  • Experence in logistics monitoring and controlling
  • Ok with international travel up 2 times a year
  • Early starts 7:30 AM – working international Markets
  • Hybrid working : up-to 2 times a week in the office (Tues , Weds)
  • We are looking for a freight Forwarding
