DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking a Finance Analyst to play a vital role within our Finance function, performing all accounting processes for their respective operation.

WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
As part of your normal duties, you will be responsible for:
- Perform controlling processes in scope for the respective site/customer like month end, reporting & analysis
- Regular engagement with site ops teams, Reporting team, BU FC\βs and shared services on inputs and outputs for the completion of common processes
- Build deep business knowledge for the customer/sites in scope to provide support for decision making
- Effectively maintain period end and year end closing schedules for the customer/sites in scope
- Adherence to finance processes and accurate, timely report production at site/customer level
- Provide regular updates to the Reporting Manager on process completion, issue resolution and any escalations
- Deliver the processes in scope to the agreed KPI requirements and support performance management
- Manage individual workflow ensuring agreed deadlines are met
- Ad hoc tasks as required
- Any other purchasing or operational admin related activities as required by the Controller or Manager

- Strong Excel, pivot tables, V Lookups and formulas
- Clear, effective communicator
- Ability to work well in a team
- 1-2 years finance experience
- Knowledge of financial compliance and reporting requirements
- Experience in accounting in a logistics or similar industry β desirable
