Responsibilities
- Identify and implement the most reliable and cost effective freight solutions for European transport activity.
- Liaise with the DHL LLP carrier base.
- Collaborate closely with other DHL LLP teams.
- Carry out ongoing carrier research to identify potential new carriers.
- Provide support to EU procurement managers on strategic re‑plans, contingency planning and benchmarking.
- Maintain team's documents – rate matrix, route profiles, RAS’s etc.
- Implement day‑to‑day changes to the collection network while considering cost, service level, risk and customer perspective; identify improvements to routes.
Qualifications
- Strong Excel skills, including experience with formulas, VLOOKUPs and XLOOKUPs.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office packages.
- Excellent attention to detail and strong analytical capabilities.
- Comfortable working with data and producing accurate results.
- Exposure to European transport or similar environment (desirable but not essential).
