Driver's Mate
This is a customer-focused and social role, where you'll be out on the road, working closely with drivers and building positive relationships at delivery points.
Key Responsibilities- Supporting the picking and loading of alcohol products onto your assigned vehicle
- Accompanying drivers and assisting with deliveries to licensed premises
- Providing a friendly, professional service when interacting with customers
- Helping to unload goods safely and efficiently at each stop
- Keeping in regular contact with the transport team and reporting any issues
- Using a handheld device to complete delivery‑related processes
- Enjoy working in a customer‑facing, social environment
- Are physically fit and comfortable with manual handling
- Have experience working with high‑volume orders (preferred)
- Are well organised and can manage your workload effectively
- Can perform basic maths calculations
- Have previous Driver's Mate experience (ideal, but not essential)
- Hold a full UK Category B driving licence (desirable, max 6 points)
