DHL Supply Chain is the world’s leading logistics company. We are looking for a Driver’s Mate to assist drivers with delivery of goods safely and on time.
A Typical Day
- Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol / white goods / furniture onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
- Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
- Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
- Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
What We’re Looking For
- Physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
- Previous experience of working with volume orders
- Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage own workload
- Can perform simple maths calculations
- Previous experience as a Driver’s Mate in a similar environment (ideal but not required)
