We\’re now looking for a Driver\’s Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Coordinating the picking and loading of goods onto your assigned vehicle prior to delivery
- Accompanying and assisting driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises or homes
- Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
- Completing relevant processes on an electronic handheld device
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Are physically fit as the role involves lots of manual handling
- Have previous experience of working with volume orders
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
- Can perform simple maths calculations
- Previous experience as a Driver\’s Mate, within a similar environment would be ideal but isn\’t a deal breaker!
