Shift patterns: Monday to Friday, 04:00-09:00 starts

DHL, an award‑winning leading supply chain business, is seeking a Driver's Mate / Assistant to play a vital role in our distribution service.

What does the role entail?

  • Accompany a driver to delivery points where you will assist with unloading deliveries to customers' homes.
  • Maintain regular contact with the Transport Team and advise of all problems which may prevent the job being completed on time and without incident.
  • Liaise with customers to confirm delivery times and complete relevant processes on an electronic handheld device.

What do we need from you?

  • High levels of manual handling are required, so you need to be physically fit.
  • Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage your own workload.
  • Ability to read, understand and follow directions and instructions.
  • Connect easily to M6, M42, A4091, local to B46 1TT.
  • Previous practical experience as a Driver's Mate, within a logistics or similar environment would be preferable.
  • Have your own transport to be able to start your shift between 04:00-09:00.
