We\’re now looking for a Driver’s Mate to play a key role assisting our drivers to deliver goods safely and on time.
A typical day may involve
- Coordinating the picking and loading of alcohol for the assigned vehicle prior to delivery
- Accompanying and assisting the driver with unloading deliveries at licensed premises
- Staying in touch with the transport team to advise of any problems
- Involving a certain amount of manual work
This role would suit people who
- Are physically fit, as the role involves lots of manual handling
- Have previous experience of working with volume orders
- Have excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage their own workload
- Previous experience as a Driver’s Mate in a similar environment is ideal but not required
