Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)
Shift patterns: 07:30 - 16:00 Monday to Friday (Must be willing to work weekends when required - Overtime)
Location: HMP Moorlands Prison, DN7 6BW
PLEASE NOTE: The role is based within a prison. You will be required to undergo an enhanced security vetting process if you are to be successful for this position.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Assisting the Warehouse Manager with the day-to-day running of the warehouse operation (based on-site at the prison)
- Line management of the Warehouse Team Leaders and overall supervision of the prisoners whilst they are at work
- Ensuring compliance to Health & Safety as well as prison rules and regulations
- Staff training and inductions
- Meeting and exceeding operational targets
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Can provide three years of UK address history (mandatory for enhanced security clearance)
- Are comfortable working in a prison environment, alongside inmates
- Have previous experience leading, managing or supervising a team
- Are IT literate to enable accurate and timely reporting
- Have a can-do attitude, right first time and passionate approach
- Full UK Driving License and own transport
