A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE
- Management and development of bookings process and daily monitoring of key suppliers, involving vehicles from UK and Nitra plants
- Daily monitoring of WIP process, holiday, capacity planning and Supply Chain disruption resolution
- Ensure effective communication with stakeholders, 3rd party suppliers and port personel at all levels
- Work closely with the Carrier Manager and client to ensure that all strategic and tactical plans are implemented effectively
- Significant liaison with other areas within Sales & Marketing and Finished Vehicle Distributions
- Ensure all planning activity is within parameters of customer services levels
- Build and maintain strong working relationships with the customer and carriers to ensure all targets are met
- To ensure that all aspects of the business operate within defined corporate and legislative requirements
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO
- Planning experience within Logistics/Supply Chain divisions and multi modal transport operations (Road, Air & Sea) is desirable
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Ability to demonstrate logical thinking with a methodical and detailed approach
- Effective and precise organisation, planning and process work method skills, whilst managing multiple projects
- Excellent level of computer literacy, with knowledge of Excel, PowerPoint and Microsoft Teams (Microsoft packages)
- Strong Analytical skills and statistical ability
- International vehicle logistics experience is desirable, but not essential
