We’re now looking for a Warehouse Shift Manager to lead our shift operations, drive performance and ensure a safe, efficient and high‑quality service for our customer.
Responsibilities
- Lead and coordinate shift operations to ensure smooth, efficient depot performance that meets DHL and customer standards
- Plan labour and resources effectively while maintaining strong communication across the team
- Ensure full compliance with Health & Safety requirements to drive a strong Safety First culture onsite
- Monitor shift performance, manage productivity, and oversee stock movement to ensure tasks are completed accurately and on time
- Drive continuous improvement by identifying opportunities, implementing solutions, and supporting operational excellence
This role would suit people who
- Proven experience leading teams within a fast‑paced warehousing or complex supply chain environment
- Strong skills in driving performance, engagement and motivation through effective communication and leadership
- Experience delivering change initiatives and using process improvement techniques
- Confident with IT systems, including Microsoft Office and Warehouse Management Systems
- Self‑motivated, proactive and able to work independently while supporting continuous improvement
