Pay Rate: £35,281 per annum based on a 48 hour week

Grade: RCS Grade P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday - starts 05:00-07:00

Location: Daventry, Northants NN11 8RA

Initially the role will be based at Maga Park, Lutterworth before moving to a new distribution centre at Apex Park, Daventry in July 2026.

Responsibilities

  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with health and safety standards, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
  • Regular completion of vehicle checks
  • Manual handling of customer products – tyres
  • Delivering tyres (approximately 15‑20 drops per day) to independent tyre retailers across the Midlands, East Anglia and North London

Qualifications

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Work Monday to Friday 05:00‑07:00 starts
  • Deliver tyres (approx. 15‑20 drops per day) to independent tyre retailers
  • Deliveries across the Midlands, East Anglia and North London
  • Ideally have 12 months recent LGV Cat C driving experience
