As a Mechanical Design Engineer, you’ll take a hands‑on role in creating the next generation of automated solutions. From initial concept development to detailed design, prototyping, installation, and commissioning, you’ll be involved in every stage of the engineering lifecycle. Working shoulder‑to‑shoulder with electrical, controls, and software specialists, you’ll help shape reliable, scalable systems that power some of the world’s most advanced logistics operations.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Design mechanical systems and equipment for logistics automation applications.
- Produce 3D CAD models, manufacturing drawings, BOMs, and end‑user documentation.
- Collaborate with electrical, controls, and software teams to deliver integrated automated solutions.
- Work with suppliers and fabricators to resolve design issues and ensure manufacturability and quality.
- Support prototyping, factory build, installation, and on‑site commissioning activities.
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or a similar is essential.
- Experience in a design and automation or logistics environment.
- Strong 3D CAD skills (e.g., OnShape, AutoCAD Fusion, SolidWorks, or similar).
