DHL, an award‑winning leading supply chain business is seeking a Class‑2 home delivery driver to play a vital role in our distribution service.
WHAT DOES THE ROLE ENTAIL?
- Delivering bulky items to customers' homes such as wardrobes, beds, mattresses, sofas etc. This will require manual handling.
- There will be around 15‑35 drops per day depending on which route you are placed on.
- This is a 2‑man role so you will be with a Drivers Mate or another driver.
- Drive in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations.
- Comply with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to the Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations.
