A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Delivery of aluminium trunking to electrical wholesalers / building sites across the UK - maximum of 5 drops per day
- Deliveries are with an FLT so just opening and closing curtains and securing the load is required
- Start times between 04:00-06:00 Monday to Friday - no weekend working or bank holidays
- Day work only NO nights out
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 2 Driving Licence (Cat C), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Hours per week up to 45 - overtime paid for hours over 40 per week at time and a half
- Curtain side experience and use of straps to secure a load would be an advantage
- Live locally to site in West Brom B70 0EB
- Ideally have 12 months recent LGV Cat C driving experience due to the nature of the delivery points
