Pay Rate: £38,064.00 + night out payment (£25 per night)

Grade: RCS P

Contract Type: Permanent (Full-Time)

Shift patterns: Monday to Friday Tramping (4 nights out), available start times between 00:00 and 12:00, based on the driver's preferred start time.

Location: Manton Wood - S80 3EG

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:

  • Delivering palletised goods to warehouses and RDC's - between 1 and 3 drops per day
  • Strapping and securing the load, occasional tipping through use of manual pallet truck
  • Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
  • Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations

THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:

  • Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
  • Newly qualified drivers are accepted - all drivers will be required to undergo a driving assessment
  • Are comfortable with manual handling - strapping/securing loads and occasional use of manual pallet truck
