Responsibilities
- Shunting trailers on-site for the majority of the shift (around 99% of the role)
- Using a TUG to manoeuvre trailers safely and efficiently
- Working closely with the on-site customer, maintaining a professional and positive approach at all times
- Completing vehicle checks and ensuring all equipment is safe to use
- Driving in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with all health and safety standards and site procedures
Qualifications
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C+E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Confident with shunting and ideally have experience using a TUG
- Professional, reliable and comfortable working in a very customer-facing environment
- Can work effectively as part of a small team (typically working alongside one other shunter)
