We're now looking for a Class 1 HGV Driver/Shunter to play a key role ensuring our operations run smoothly and efficiently, delivering goods safely and on time.
A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Driving in a safe and efficient manner in line with Drivers' Hours and Working Time Directive regulations
- Complying with our health and safety standards at all times, ensuring adherence to The Highway Code, road safety rules and vehicle regulations
- Regular completion of vehicle checks
- Picking up raw materials first thing in the morning
- Shunting 4-20 trailers a day
THIS ROLE WOULD SUIT PEOPLE WHO:
- Hold a valid HGV Class 1 Driving Licence (C + E), Driver CPC Qualification and Digital Tachograph Card
- Have previous experience reversing in tight Yards
- Ideally have 6 months driving experience.
