Work pattern: Any 5 from 7 (Weekdays and weekends included)
Shift Pattern: Night shift - 22:00-05:30

A TYPICAL DAY MAY INVOLVE:
- Manage and supervise a team of 5 workers during the night shift.
- Oversee the stripping and re-loading of trains, including removing rubbish and restocking confectionery items (sandwiches, tea/coffee, drinks).
- Report and investigate workplace incidents, escalating non-compliance issues with safety regulations as necessary.
- Communicate and align team objectives and KPIs, ensuring understanding and tracking of performance metrics.
- Maintain a detailed spreadsheet tracking stripped and re-loaded trains, along with outstanding tasks.
- Coordinate with Avanti for train movements and ensure DHL drivers correctly load items onto the trains.
- Track and analyse shift performance metrics, including productivity, attendance, overtime, error rates and discuss deviations with Frontline Leadership.
- Conduct regular meetings for performance reviews, safety confirmations and critical analysis, fostering continuous improvement and engagement within the team.
- Complete temperature records for food safety and maintain logs for beginning and end of day activities, as well as defrost logs for frozen food.

- Previous operational experience, managing a team of operatives is essential.
- Knowledge of the aviation or travel industry is desirable.
- Excellent communication skills for effective team interaction and reporting.
- Audit experience is advantageous, however, training will be provided.
- Proven ability to manage people effectively and lead by example in timekeeping and punctuality.
- Strong motivational skills to inspire and energise the team.
- Ability to deliver results within a fast-paced environment.
